Grants
NM Clean & Beautiful Grants
The main objective of the New Mexico Clean & Beautiful program is to provide grant funding to municipal, county and tribal governments each year to support their efforts in implementing projects that eliminate, control or eradicate litter, graffiti, weeds and also educate the general public.
Each year the office sends out notification about the grant application process to all incorporated municipal, county and tribal governments for the opportunity to apply for funding. Projects can include litter control and/or eradication, beautification, recycling, graffiti and weed removal and overall education.
At least five grant workshops are coordinated around the state in order to assist communities in completing the application. The workshop provides information on the program, eligible projects and tips on completing the application.
It is highly recommended that either the program or grant administrator attend one of the scheduled workshops; attendance at the workshop is worth five (5) points toward the overall score. Traditionally those who attend the workshops receive higher scores on their application.

Noon – 1:00 – Joe Lobato and Audrey Herrera-Castillo will conduct an interactive industry building session involving all workshop attendees – we highly encourage attendance at this session.
