Keep Luna County Beautiful an affiliate with Keep America Beautiful since 1997.  The main focus of the affiliate, which comes from necessity, is on litter control and graffiti abatement.  Sub-contracting with youth the affiliate provides the opportunity for hundreds of impoverished children to participate in activities they otherwise would not have had the privilege to attend.  They are convinced that through this program many young lives have been diverted from gangs to membership in sanctioned activities, where the individuals can be coached and mentored in healthy, fulfilling and mind expanding activities.
